About learning from your failures, and what grows back through the cracks.
About catching feelings for someone you already know isn’t good for you.
About the walls we put up that keep joy and love out. The first song released from a box of thirty-year-old songs, rebuilt with today’s production.
“I grew up in the shadow of Riverview. When it shut down, too many neighbours ended up on the streets. I wrote this song to remember the people behind those locked doors and the town that changed with them.”

Written after one too many news stories where the neighbours of a serial killer all say the same thing: he seemed so normal. The song the album is named after, finished and waiting its turn.

Streaming barely pays: Spotify pays about a third of a cent a play, and nothing at all until a song passes 1,000 streams. We’re there because you are, and we want you to hear the music.
If you’d like to help, the services that pay artists best are, in order, Qobuz, Tidal, Amazon, Deezer, Apple and Spotify. Sharing a song with a friend helps too. Thank you for listening.
